J.D. lost his first tooth!

A couple of weeks ago while we were eating dinner, J.D. was having trouble chewing his pizza and told us "It's my tooth!" Sure enough, one of his bottom front teeth was a little loose! It bothered him for a few days and then not much more was said about it. Last Wednesday I asked him if he was going to be 6 or 7 when he lost his first tooth since his birthday is Monday. By Thursday, the tooth was barely hanging on so Mike got it out really easily. J.D. was so excited! He got a special tooth pillow from Grammie and put it under his pillow. The tooth fairy left him a note and some money. The boys know the tooth fairy is just pretend and it was so funny hearing them talk the next morning about who they think the tooth fairy is. Colby is sure the tooth fairy is Jill, their 14 year old cousin! J.D.'s new tooth is already coming in! He's going to look so different!
